Located beside the studio, the Equipment Store (BA-05-001B) is open by appointment only during the following times:

Monday - Friday: 10am - 12pm & 2pm - 4pm

Some specialist pieces require Inductions (as noted beside their name). If the piece has been covered in your workshop, that qualifies as your induction. If you did not attend that workshop then this will not be repeated in a one to one.

Policies

All equipment bookings must be aligned to a Risk Assessment.

The Risk Assessment must be approved by an appropriate module coordinator.

  • You must present a valid, approved online Risk Assessment before equipment collection.
  • The equipment store is open by appointment only: You must arrive promptly, as you will have only fifteen minutes to check out your equipment.
  • The notice period for equipment bookings is 72hrs (3 days), not including weekends
  • Maximum booking length: currently 7 days, including weekends (while store has restricted opening hours). If you require longer than this, you can apply to your module coordinator for an extension. If your seventh day is a Saturday or Sunday, the system should allow you to return on Monday morning.
  • INDUCTION REQUIRED - You must have learned how to use this piece of equipment in workshops or had a one to one with the technical team for pieces not covered in workshops.
